all labor, equipment, and personnel to accomplish services to recover
and recycle Depleted Uranuim from U.S. Government supplied articles.
The period of performance is 01 Oct 98-30 Sep 99. Four one-year options
may be awarded. The SIC Code is 8999 entitled "Services, Not Elsewhere
Classified". The size standard is $5 million. The proposed procurement
is under a small business set-aside. This solicitation will be issued
approximately 27 May 98. All responsible sources may submit a bid or
quotation which shall be considered. To request a copy of the

received directly from the requestor are acceptable. No telephone

been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or
potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the
Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements,
and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence
of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program
director or the contracting officer. Accordingly, the Ombudsman does
not participate in the preparation of solicitations, the evaluation of
proposals or the source selection process and, therefore, for routine
matters on individual solicitations, please contact [ John
