Duff The proposed contract is for project MDY 97-0228, Repair Airfield Lighting Circuit, Which consists of but is not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, and related items to separate the circuits feeding the north and south approach lights from the inside threshold lights. Run two home run circuits from the manhole near the 4000 feet marker for the inside runway to the airfield lighting vault for inside north and inside south approach lights. Connect the inside threshold lights to the existing inside threshold/ approach lights home circuit. Install a 30kw constant current regulator and circuit selector. Make connections between the new regulator and the new circuit selector. Install power and control wiring to the new constant current regulator and the new circuit selector. Install a SPDT switch on the control panel in the control tower to separate the inside approach control from the outside approach control. Make connections between the new switch in the tower and the vault airfield lighting control system. Cleanup the site after the final inspection. All work shall be in strict compliance with specifications and drawings. This will be a firm fixed price construction contract with 170 days construction performance time. Magnitude of proposed project is between $ 25,000 and $ 100,000.
