www.crane.navy.mil. This is a sources sought announcement for a
Temperature Indicator Device. The Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare
Center, is seeking possible sources of temperature indication devices
capable of recording temperature exposures in excess of 130 degrees F.
The device is to be attached to ship-launched expendable decoys to
measure temperature condition history when temperatures exceed 130
degrees F during the life cycle of the decoys. Indicators should
provide general time of exposure from 1-12 weeks. Attachment should be
onto the metal skin of the decoys or the plastic end cap. A decal
temperature/history indicator is an example of what is being sought.
