The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis from Applied High Technology (AHT) Corporation, 4 Place Du Commerce Bureau 201, Brossard (Quebec) Canada the following software and support: (10 Simsmart electrical AC/DC object library with source code to include fifteen months library support, three Smartviewer licenses, four Smartaccess licenses for Simsmart Pro Edition. Support is to include all updates, enhancements, upgrades and unlimited telephone support Monday thru Friday excluding Government holidays between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm DST. A teaming initiative is being initiated with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) to develop a simulation of the HM&E Systems for the DD-21 Destroyer. NAVSEA has already built models of the firemain and chilled water systems using the Simsmart tool. Simsamrt is a tool used to create physical models of systems for analysis. Simaccess is an interface package that allows communication with other software packages and environments. The runtime licenseswill allow Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) to test and integrate the existing and future HM&E systems developed by NAVSEA. In order to facilitate integration, it is necessary to use the same software to develop the new simulations. Applied High Technology (AHT) Corporation is the proprietary and only source to distribute and support this software. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Appropriate SIC code is 7372. All responsible sources shall provide manufacturer's specifications, software license and support agreements and any other pertinent documentation along with their proposal, Cage Code, Dunns number and tax identification number which may be faxed to the attention of Barbara Walters, Codes SD18, fax number is 540-653-7016. The Government shall not issue a written solicitation as a result of this notice because all pertinent information is contained herein. This procurement shall be awarded on an all or none basis. The items shall be shipped F.O.B. Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448. Closing date of this synopsis shall be 27 May 1998.
