has been designed using the metric system. The project consists of
intermittent flood damage repair to 4 sites consisting of excavation,
embankment, rock borrow, and aggregate. Project includes construction
survey & staking; 60 metric ton minor asphalt concrete; 1 hectare
clearing & grubbing; 1,437 metric ton untreated aggregate courses;
1,200mm x 28m culverts & drains; 400 meter silt fence; 5,666 cubic
meter excavation & embankment; 1,475 cubic meter rock borrow; 20 cubic
meter riprap; 4 slurry units turf establishment; and other smaller
items of work. This project is located at 3 different sites in Lincoln
County, Oregon. Work shall be completed by December 1, 1998. Estimated
price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Presolicitation Notices
are being provided to firms on this agency's mailing list concurrently
with the publication of this synopsis. The following applies only to

The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital
financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts.
DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and
payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending
Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable.
