NASA GSFC/WFF plans to issue a Request for Offers for Repair of Hangar Doors, Building N-159 at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia 23337. The scope of work for this project shall include, but is not limited to: the preparation and painting of the exterior side of hangar doors associated with the building, the replacement of glass panels, the replacement of door seals, and the replacement of operative cabling. The work shall be complete. It includes furnishing, as applicable, or may be required, all contractor's plant, equipment, scaffolding, rigging, safety devices, labor, tools, materials, supplies, and services, and performing all operations necessary for or incidental to a complete project in conformity with the drawings and as set forth in the various sections of the specifications. This procurement is being conducted under NASA MidRange Procurement Procedures. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 and theeffort shall be completed within 90 calendar days after notice to proceed. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for the procurement is 1542. The corresponding size standard is $17,000,000.00. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about 5/28/98 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about 6/30/98. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the RFO. Bid packages containing specifications and drawings will be available at a nonrefundable cost of $50.00. Requests are to be forwarded to: NASA/GSFC, Sandra S.
