Holland, Contract Specialist, (301)227-1101 The purpose of this acquisition is for research, development, engineering, and fabrication of High Definition Electro-Optical Camera Systems (HDEOCS). The proposed Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (completion) type of contract will have a period of performance of three years and will have an estimated effort of 25,100 hours per year. The proposed contractor is Florida Atlantic University (FAU), Communications Technologies Center, Boca Raton, Florida. The Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with FAU in support of a Center of Technical Excellence (COTE), which is located at FAU. The proposed contract is part of the MOA. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 26 June 1998, with receipt of proposals due 30 days thereafter. See Note 22. (0132)
