the following Minimum items: (1) Renew Watertight Hatch and Door, (2)
Renew Evaporator Insulation, (3) Clean and Inspect Heat Exchangers, (4)
Clean Emergency Generator In-Place, (5) Clean Shipboard Ventilation
Systems, (6) Renew Ventilation Ductwork, (7) Renew HVAC Unit, (8)
Install New Drains on Bridge Wing Weather Decks, (9) Replace Potable
Water Tank Level Indicators, (10) Overhaul and Test Manifolds and
Valves, (11) Install Magazine Sprinkler Valves, (12) Clean and Inspect
Diesel Fuel, JP-5 Fuel, and Lube Oil Tanks, (13) Overhaul Hangar Drive
Mechanisms and Hangar Door, (14) Chemically Clean Sewage and Gray Water
Piping Systems, (15) Preserve Sewage and Grey Water Collection and
Holding Tanks except Seal Water Tank, (16) Renew Deck Coverings, (17)
Provide Temporary Logistics. Indefinite items include, but are not
limited to: (1) Preserve Seal Water Tank. Vessel's homeport is Boston,
MA. Vessel's availability is for 42 days starting 21 September 1998.
The place of performance is restricted to the vessel's homepier. There
will be a non-refundable charge of $100.00 required in the form of a
certified check or money order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for
requested drawings. All other referenced documents are available for
viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, Va. Funds are
available for this procurement. The proposed contract listed here is
part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans
and specifications will be issued on or after 05 June 1998. All
responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the
United States Coast Guard. This notice is for informational purposes
