R -- PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION ADVISORS SOL PSC001 DUE 060298 POC Mary Miron, Contracting Officer, (202) 927-0386 The USCS intends to acquire the services of three Public Administration Advisors through Personal Services Contracts under the Foreign Assistance Act: 1) Chief of Party (GS grade TBD)will serve as overall adminstrator of a multifaceted technical assistance program to effectively manage enforcement and export control activities at all land, sea, and air borders of the Republic of Georgia; 2) Senior Advisor-Border Control (GS grade TBD) will develop threat assessments and deploy nationwide enforcement initiatives for co-ordinating control of Georgia's borders; and 3) Senior Advisor-Maritime Control (GS grade TBD) will establish a maritime border guard with emphasis on law enforcement coastal defense and port security. Evaluation of candidates shall be based upon employment history submitted on an SF171, OF612, or Resume covering all information required on the cited forms. Target report date to Tblisi, Georgia is July 1, 1998. All positions require interaction with high level officials of the Government of Georgia and the U.S. Government. Successful completion of a Full Background Investigation and medical clearance is required. The positions are considered unaccompanied for re-imbursement purposes.
