Contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, management, and supervision to maintain Military Family Housing (MFH). Services to be provided include; general maintenance and repair of interior/exterior of all MFH units; change of occupancy maintenance; installed equipment maintenance (HVAC); the moving, handling, repair, and replacment of household appliances; the operation and management of the self-help store for MFH residents; routine and emergency service calls; equipment and supply inventory; maintenance of facility files; and other related services as required by the solicitation. The contract period will be for a total of five years (basic period plus 4 one-year options). This project has been accepted by the Small Business Administration as a nationwide competitive 8(a) set-aside. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1799 with a corresponding size standard of $7.0 Million. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 1 Jun 98. This is a negotiated procurement and award will be made to the proposal considered to be the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered.
