Z -- WATERFRONT REPAIRS AT USCG STATION OCEAN CITY, MARYLAND. SOL DTCG83-98-B-3WF261 POC Audrey L. Overholt, (216) 902-6217. Provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision and transportation required to perform the following work at USCG Station Ocean City, Maryland. Work consists of the following: Basic Work Items: A) Sawcut and remove asphalt pavement directly behind the existing MP-116 anchored steel sheet pile bulkhead; B) Demolish and remove the existing concrete pile supported concrete platform; C) Demolish and remove the first two bents on the existing timber pier along the west steel sheet pile breakwater; D) Remove existing fuel pumps and hose reels and replace them with new; E) Remove and dispose of 14 tiber fender piles and 132 lineal feet of 10 x 10 timber wale; F) Remove, store and reinstall the existing aluminum gangway to the floating dock; G) Remove 50 feet of 8-foot high fencing; H) Cut-off and dispose of the top 1'-6" of MP-116 steel sheet pile anchored bulkhead (approximately 262 lineal feet). Additionally, cut-off and dispose of the top 8 feet of MP-116 steel sheet pile anchored bulkhead (approximately 41 lineal feet) on the northeast corner of waterfront property; I) Install approximately 285 lineal feet of 16 inch thick prestressed precast concrete sheet pile bulkhead; J) Backfill between the new concrete sheet pile bulkhead and the existing steel sheet pile bulkhead with gravel fill; K) Install a 10' wide by 10" thick reinforced concrete apron; L) Install a new 10" rubber D-bore fender system mounted directly onto the front face of new concrete sheet pile; M) Install a new reinforced concrete gangway support on the new concrete sheet pile bulkhead and (1) new 12 inch square prestressed precast concrete pile. Reinstall existing gangway; N) Install a new 5-ton jib crane on a timber pile foundation; O) Seed and mulch the backlands area on souther portion of waterfront property. Unit Work Item 0002: Install approximately 75 lineal feet of 16 inch thick prestressed precast concrete sheet pile bulkhead. Estimated range is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00.
