This Proposed contract action is for supplies for which the government doe not have specification and drawings to permit full and open competition. Only approved sources who have successfully completed the required engineering test will be considered for award of this flight safety part. The time required for approval of new supplies is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
