STREAM MONITORING IN ALASKA Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with the State of Alaska Dept. of Fish & Game (ADF&G). Purpose of contract is to have ADF&G survey stream crossings to assess conditions of streams. ADF&G will survey stream crossing structures on logging roads where they cross anadromous and resident fish streams in the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. Data collected will be entered into a Geographic Information System (GIS) database which will be used to monitor the condition and function of road crossing structures for maintenance and retrofitting. ADF&G is the only source which has operational presence at remote location where streams will be surveyed and will reduce cost to the Govt.
