Serneo, Contract Specialist, Tel: 671/339-8096 or Fax: 671/339-4231 It is the intention of this solicitation to obtain services to lease twenty (20) four wheel drive sport utility security vehicles, for a period not to exceed 36 months. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, instruments, transportation necessary for the delivey of leased vehicles. The contractor will deliver all vehicles to the requested destination no later than ninety (90) calendar days after receipt of award. Vehicles maybe delivered in a piece meal sequence, but shall not exceed the 90 days delivery time for all 20 vehicles. All vehicles shall be of current models, and will meet the EPA CAFE ratings Vehicles shall be the manufacturer's standard exterior paint and color (white). The vehicle requirements include: engine: 6 cylinder minimum, with oil cooler; dimension: wheel base-112: minimum, 117.5 maximum, overall width-76"minimum, 77.5" maximum; capacity: seating of five (5) seats, front and rear seat; body: four wheel drive, four doors, front and rear wheel mud guards, complete rust proofing or electronic rust evader, white in color with no body molding; battery: 12 volt minimum, 770 cold cranking amps; transmission: automatic four speed with overdrive and oil cooler; brakes: power assisted front disc and rear drum. Four wheel antilock system with transmission shift interlock; and other accessories. The cost of the lease shall include preventive maintenance services within the warranty period of 36 months. The services are to be performed under a firm, fixed price multiyer (36 months) type contract. Approximate date of availability of the solicitation package is 29 May 98.
