70 -- 256MB RAM FOR SGI CHALL/ONYX SYSTEM SOL N00015980009 DUE 052698 POC Michele Gilbreath, 301 669-4046 The Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), has a requirement to procure quantity of 8, 256MB RAM (4x64MB SIMMS)for SGI CHALL/ONYX System. RAM must be "Gold Seal Approved" by Silicon Graphics Computer Systems and supported under current support agreement with Silicon Graphics Computer Systems to maintain patibility. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses of FAR Part 12.3. All responsible sources may submit offers which ONI shall consider. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government in terms of price, technical capability of the services, and past-performance of the contractor.
