contractor shall provide the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency,
Region VI, Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance, advisory and
assistance, analytical, and management services at Superfund sites. The
contractor shall provide Superfund Enforcement Support Services to the
EPA in following areas: Potentially Responsible Party (PRP) Searches,
Negotiation Support, Expert/Litigation Support, Cost Recovery,
Management Support and Project Management, and Report Functions. When
performing tasks pursuant to this contract, the contractor shall
perform in accordance with all environmental statutes as appropriate
(e.g., Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Clean Water Act,
Clean Air Act, Toxic Substances Control Act and the Comprehensive
Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980
(CERCLA) (Superfund), as amended by the Superfund Amendments and
Reauthorization Act of 1986 (SARA). The contract activities will be
performed within the geographical boundaries of Region VI, Arkansas,
Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas, and on an as-needed basis
for Region V, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and
Wisconsin. It is the Government's intent to award a maximum of two (2)
cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, task
order contracts. The contract period of performance shall be for a five
year base period only. Each contract will have an estimated minimum
level-of-effort of 40,000 hours. The purpose of this CBD announcement
is to notify potential offerors of EPA's requirement, generate the
source list, and to direct interested parties to the EPA's "Doing
Business with EPA" Internet World Wide Web site at
http://www.epa.gov/oam for further information on this procurement as
it becomes available. The RFP, amendments and other related items for
this procurement will be posted on this Web site and can be
downloaded/viewed. Interested parties must forward requests to be
