V -- VALET PARKING SERVICES SOL RFP 548-01-99 POC Donna Nelson, 561-882-6510 or 561-882-6521 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410 has a requirement for valet parking services to alleviate the parking problems experienced at the facility. This procurement is being issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. A solicitation will be issued on or about July 15, 1998. Contractor will furnish all labor, supervision, equipment and supplies necessary to effect valet parking for the period October 1, 1998 to March 31, 1999 with two (2) renewal option years, subject to the availability of funding. Based on current operations, it is estimated that the contractor will be required to park approximately 700 -- 900 cars per day. Approximately 130 parking spaces are available on the top deck for valet parking along with 108 surface parking spaces for overflow from the top deck. Services to be provided Monday through Friday excluding Federal Holidays, from 6:30 amto 7:00pm. The contractor will be responsible for valet ticketing, securing keys, parking and delivering valet vehicles to and from the valet area(s), for the period specified in accordance with all terms, conditions, schedules, provisions, and requirements of this solicitation and any resultant contract.
