The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing a bin or crib wall system including backfill; preparing and painting portions of the interior and exterior surfaces of the penstock; preparing and painting the radial gate arms; and designing and installing a cathodic monitoring and protection system. The estimated price of the work is $250,001 to $500,000. The work is located at the Heart Mountain Powerplant, approximately 4 miles southwest of Cody, Wyoming, in Park County. Solicitation packages are anticipated to be available June 4, 1998. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for July 7, 1998, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Wyoming Area Office, 705 Pendell Boulevard, Mills, Wyoming. The contract is to be completed by no later than April 2, 1999. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation; additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each.
