Naval Surface WarFare Center -- Carderock Division, Philadelphia, Pa., intends to acquire two (2) Vertical Storage Tanks suitable for potable water from 33 degrees F to 120 degrees F. Minimum Salient Characteristics: The tank shall be approximately 12 feet in diameter and 40 feet high with approximately 33,500-gallon capacity. the tank shall be self-supporting when fully filled with water and positioned vertically. The tank shall have a nearly uniform weight distribution at the tank base. Tank weight empty shall not exceed 10000 lb. The tank shall have the following fitting and accessories: 24 inch top manway, 24 inch side manway, 4 inch flanged inlet, 14 inch flanged outlet, lifting and hold down lugs.
