THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE COMBINED Synopsis/RFO FOR NASTRAN LICENSE SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS NOTICE. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their offer. This notice serves as the official amendment to the subject solicitation and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to respond to various inquiries/questions. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. The due date for receipt of offers is May 26, 1998. QUESTION #1: Should a comprehensive license be awarded, would it be installed on a similar compute-server as the limited-site license? ANSWER #1: YES. QUESTION #2: Under the "SELECTION AND AWARD" segment, under "CAPABILITIES"; Does the statement "[This Criteria does not apply to the SEAT License evaluation.]" refer to item 2.i. only, or does it apply to all items 2.a. through 2.i., inclusive? ANSWER #2: IT APPLIES TO ALL ITEMS 2.a. THROUGH 2.i. QUESTION #3: Under "Attention Site License Offerors", the RFO states that the Price Adjustment Clause only applies to the SITE/COMPREHENSIVE Licenses. However, the Price Adjustment clause itself mentions the SEAT license. Is the Price Adjustment Clause applicable to the SEAT license? ANSWER #3: NO! THIS WAS A TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR! Any reference to the "SEAT" License in the Price Adjustment Clause, should be changed to "SITE" License! QUESTION #4: Under the "Site License Specifications/Requirements" segment, item (1) appears as "Linear or Nonlinear Structural Statics". Should it be "Linear AND Nonlinear Structural Statics"? ANSWER #4: YES! IT SHOULD BE "LINEAR AND NONLINEAR"! Offers shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFO posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on May 8, 1998 and published in the CBD on May 8, 1998.
