This requirement is for nonpersonal services to include operation, maintenance, support, analysis and other test related services in support of the Materiel Test Directorate, USAYPG, AZ. A draft statement of work with proposal evaluation criteria will be issued on or about 01 June 98 and the formal solicitation will be issued on or about 15 July 98. A preproposal conference will be conducted 15 through 18 June 98. Any prospective offeror desiring to attend this conference MUST submit a reservation request in writing to the above mailing address, e-mail address or facsimile number (520)328-6849 NO LATER THAN 2 June 98. The Government will conduct a briefing and tour on 15 June 98. In addition, each prospective offeror will be allowed 30 minutes with Government representatives from each of the major functional areas on an individual basis to ask technical questions. These sessions will be scheduled on a first-come-first- serve basis on 16, 17 and 18 June as required to accommodate all requests received by the above stated deadline. Reservation requests not received by 2 June 98 will only be honored on a space available basis. No other preproposal conference will be held. Specific areas of support include electronic instrumentation operations, optical and geodetic instrumentation operations, metrology and simulation operations, computation and automation operations, weapons and ammunitions operations, fleet and test vehicle maintenance, maintenance test data collection, range management operations, technical and engineering special services, range communications operations and information management operations. The contract period will be 01 October 1999 through 30 September 2009. A copy of the draft statement of work and the solicitation may be obtained by submitting a written request to the above mailing or e-mail addresses or the above facsimile number. However, note the suspense date of 02 June 98 cited above for guaranteed reservation at the preproposal conference. All responsible offerors may participate.
