COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MAY 19,1998 PSA#2098Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Acquisition Center,
Research Development and Engineering Center, Redstone Arsenal, AL
35898-5000 A -- MISSILE/ROCKET LAUNCH RESPONSE STUDY DUE 052998 POC Deidra
Barnes, Contract Specialist, AMSAM-AC-RD-BA, (205)876-3139, or Harold
Smith, Contracting Officer, (205)876-0908 The contractor shall perform
dynamic and fatigue analysis of missile/rocket systems and aviation
systems. These analyses shall be of such fidelity that missile/rocket
tip-off rates can be determined as measured in miliradians. Missile
tip-off is one of the error sources used in missile and rocket
simulations to determine performance. Tip-off is a function of the
entire system, therefore, the typical analyses shall mandate that a
model of the particular carrier platform also be modeled to account for
any dynamics effects resulting from the carrier suspension or chassis
flexibility. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIAL: The data required for these
analysis will be provided to the contractor by personnel from the
Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center upon award of
contract. DELIVERABLES: The study shall be provided to the government
in accordance with DI-MISC-80508. See Numbered Note(s): 22 (0135) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0002 19980519\A-0002.SOL)
