Roache, Contract Specialist, (301) 504-1744 Correction: The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Economic Research Service (ERS) seeks a qualified contractor to conduct a study of the USDA Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The contractor should have the ability to conduct large surveys, including survey design and implementation. The study will require the collection, description and analysis of information on the following aspects of the SFSP: 1) the operations of State agencies operating the program, 2) the operations and characteristics of sponsors, 3) the operations and characteristics of SFSP sites and 4) the characteristics of children participating in the SFSP. One contract option would describe the meals provided to SFSP participants. A second contract option would assess the program's integrity. The anticipated solicitation release date is on or about May 20, 1998.
