The Defense Supply Service -- Washington on behalf of the Per Diem, Travel and Transportation Allowance Committee in Alexandria, intents to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, with Runzheimer International LTD, Runzheimer Park, Rochester, WI 53167. The period of performance is for one base year and four option years. The contractor is to update and expand cost of living estimates for up to 500 points per annum representing specific continental U.S. locations, family sizes, and income levels. Cost categories include taxation (state, local, social security, and sales), transportation (public transportation and operation and maintenance costs of automobiles), and detailed goods and services. Data must be location-, family size- and income level-specific.
