D -- PROVIDE DATABASE STUDIES, REPORTS & ANALYSIS SUPPORT VIA INTERNET SERVICE SOL N00015980010 DUE 052698 POC Patty Mason, Contracting Officer 301 669-4044 The Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), intends to award a sole sources contract to Tradebyte Corporation in Vancouver British Columbia, Canada, to specialize in providing databasing (studies, reports and analysis support) U.S. imports data that is purchased from the U.S. Custom Service. The period of performance is 01JUN98 thru 30SEP98. The contractor will provide their data via an internet access. Work will be done at the contractor's facility and occasionally at ONI in conjunction with ONI personnel. Computer types are VAX and IBM. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.3 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses of FAR Part 12.3. The provision at 51.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government in terms of price, technical capability of the services, and past-performance of the contractor. The provision at 51.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commerical Items (OCT 1995) applies.
