Randolph, Contracting Officer, 702-652-5488 Removal/replacement of existing Nevada Power Company (NPC) poles and transmission lines to accommodate the installation of 12 strand single mode fiber optic cabling at Indian Springs, Nevada. The project also calls for the installation of a 12 strand single mode fiber optic cable (aerial) on NPC poles and the installation of a handhole and 2-2" conduits extending to 6 buildings from the handhole on the site. Potential contractor must replace poles which houses NPC transmission lines and work within NPC guidelines when installing the new fiber optic cables on their poles. Approval MUST be received from NPC to alter their existing NPC transmission lines and work on NPC poles prior to award of a contract. (0135)
