first CBD notice issued on March 19, 1998, (Submission No. 180656)
which failed to include the USGS's requirement for four (4) option
years for equipment maintenance. Also not included were four (4)
optional DOQ Workstations, two to be delivered FOB Destination to
Denver, CO and two to be delivered FOB Destination to Rolla, MO. The
March 19, 1998, CBD notice announced the USGS's requirement for two (2)
lots of automated (softcopy) Aerotriangulation (AT) Digital Ortho
Production (DOQ) systems, including operation demonstration, training,
and one-year warranty. AS NO FUNDS ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THE
REQUIREMENT, the USGS wishes to acquire the upgrade equipment with
potential exchange (or trade-in) of eight (8) Government-owned
Intergraph InterMap Analytic Systems. In the event of no acceptable
offers and/or negotiations being unsuccessful, the USGS reserves the
right not to enter into the equipment exchange. Delivery shall be FOB
Destination to Denver, CO and to Rolla, MO. Interested firms were asked
to respond in writing, requesting a copy of RFP No. 98CRSS1006, with
requests submitted by mail or FAXed to Jane L. Conniff at (303)
236-2710. No telephone requests are being accepted. RFP has a closing
