S -- WATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR SOL DACA33-98-Q-0082 DUE 070798 POC Julie Mackley (978) 318-8413 Furnish services of a licensed water treatment plant operator to implement a preventative maintenance program for all equipment at the TCE Groundwater Treatment Plant at the U.S. Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL), Hanover, New Hampshire. The contractor shall provide routine maintenance of all of the plant's equipment, including two air stripping towers, two carbon vapor vessels including towers, two green sand filters, air blowers, heaters, pumps and associated instrumentation and monitoring equipment. The contractor shall perform minor repairs to eqipment including drive belts and bearings. The Government will supply all materials needed for the performance of the above services. The contractor will provide sample collection and analysis services as required by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Tempoarary Surface Water Discharge Permit. The Contractor shall provide one water treatment facility operator at the plant five days per week, Monday through Friday, from 0700 to 1530 hours. The operator will be on call seven days per week, twenty-four hours per day to repair any non-operational equipment. It is estimated that the operator will be required to work 10 hours per month of overtime on an on-call basis.
