Fifty percent of our projects will be solicited in electronic format this summer; and by fiscal year 1999, all of our projects will be solicited electronically. The submission 194881 dated 29 Apr 98 is hereby amended: Provide all labor, material, plant, equipment, supplies and coordination necessary for all work necessary to repair/reconfigure the interior of Building 9. Work includes to repair/reconfigure existing walls, replace existing floor coverings and wall coverings, replace ceiling tiles and light fixtures, duct work and diffusers, refinish interior walls, remove lead paint and asbestos for Project 980314, Repair Interior, Bldg 9. The period of performance for this project is 180 calendar days from the date of award. The Government will hold a site visit for all interested sources. The contractor should make an on site visit to evaluate the project to determine the extent of the repairs/work to be completed prior to submitting their proposal. The approximate issue date will be 29 May 98 with the approximate response date of 30 Jun 98. The cost range for this project is approximately $100,000 to $250,000. This is not a Request for Proposals. The Government will not accept written or faxed request for the solicitation 98-B-0069 -- Repair interior building 9. The $7.00 charge for the solicitation will be refunded to all contractors.
