Z -- ROAD REPAIR SOL R6-20-98-21 RD DUE 070698 POC Contracting Department (541) 883-6739 or (541) 883-6804 This project is to provide for the repair of Forest Service Roads 28 and 34 on the Paisley Ranger District of the Fremont National Forest, Lake County, Oregon. The work consists of the following: Road 28 -- Rip surface, shape subgrade to 20', place geotextile on subgrade, drill, shoot, and place 1' of 6" rock over cloth, place surfacing and chipseal surface 14'. Road 34 -- Dig out unsuitable subgrade, place geotextile, and backfill with 6" rock, place Government-furnished surfacing, and chipseal surface. Install four 18" culverts. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The following bond amounts will be required: 20% bid, 50% Payment, and 100% Performance. This is a total small business set-aside. (0138)
