SOL DAKF23-98-B-0027 DUE 063098 POC Contract Specialist Learah Smith (502) 798-7834/Barbara Dawson (502) 798-7129 (Site Code DAKF23) (Requirement Contract) Installation and Replacement of Water and Sewer Lines, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. SIC 1623/$17 million. The requirement is for a Base year and two (2) twelve (12) month option periods. The estimated dollar range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Work includes extra depth excavation; road boring, cutting and patching; temporary bypasses minimizing loss of utilities; work after normal hours and utility workforce coordination; operating, repairing and installing valves and meters; Fire hydrants installation and replacement; installation of government furnished materials; inspection and testing of existing lines(i.TV, smoke, pressure, etc.). This acquisition is issued pursuant to the "Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988" and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Therefore, this acquisition is Unrestricted; however solicitation will contain an evaluation preference for SDB concerns.
