The reasons for cancellation include: no assurances of on-going funding; the current technology for processing Customs forms 4790 (CMIR) and TELANs is exepsnive and obsolescent. New data collection and processing methods are being studied; and uncertainty of the infrastructure to carry out program activities. If in the near future, a decision is made to proceed with this acquisition, companies which are already on the existing bidders mailing list will automatically receive a copy of the solicitation.
