Phila. intends to acquire, on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Continuation of Website Hosting and administration services for the Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP), Mechanicsburg, PA, SERVMART Websites. These websites are for the following SERVMART locations: Pascagoula, MS; Pensacola, FL; Mayport, FL; Jacksonville, FL; Puget Sound, WA; and Everitt, WA. The required services include the Site Hosting for SERVMART, Store Operations Hosting at the aforementioned sites, and administration of the catalog database, for new items and revisions to current items. A Firm Fixed Price type contract, with a base period of 01 Jun 1998 through 30 Sep 1998, and one eleven (11) month option period is anticipated. This is a follow-on requirement to Contract N00140-97-C-2601 with AMPeMERCE INTERNET SOLUTIONS, in which AMPeMERCE developed and implemented the SERVMART websites. AMPeMERCE is considered the only supplier with the requisite knowledge and expertise to continue the hosting services, and meet the Government's time and delivery constraints. This contract is for the services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The solicitation will be conducted under the provisions for Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). All responsible sources may submit a technical and price proposal demonstrating the ability to meet the requirements of this procurement which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia.
