Work involves removal and disposal of a poured in place, synthetic, gymnasium floor measuring 102 ft. 6 in. by 60 ft. 3 in. Removal and disposal of 12 x 12 vinyl composite tile from a 33 ft. by 17 ft. 4 in. room. Included will be the following on both areas above. The complete installation of prefabricated rubber sports surfacing, three layered durometer vulcanized and calendered with special embossing including adhesive and stripping. Preparation of substrate to provide a smooth, dense, finish highly compacted with a tolerance of 1/8" in a 10 food radius. The manufacturer must be experienced in the manufacturing of prefabricated rubber surface. The surface is to be certified by the World Volleyball and Basketball Federations. Prefabricated rubber sports surface will be 3/8" (10 mm) thick with a smooth mat finish. Prefabricated rubber surface is to be sheet goods, calendered and vulcanized three layered system with a 2 mm wear layer, a load distribution layer and a shock absorption layer. Prefabricatedrubber surface to exceed 30% shock absorption on DIN 18032II and 40 on impact resilience energy return ASTM D2632. Adhesive will be a two part polyurethane suitable for adherence of sheet goods to concrete. Adhesive to be supplies by rubber sheet manufacturer. Line marking paint to be supplied by rubber sheet manufacturer. (0139)
