The Government intends to negotiate an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity Cost Plus Fixed Fee type contract for engineering and technical services in support of Combat, HM&E and Undersea Systems. The resulting contract will be for a base period of 01 October 1998 through 30 September 1999, with 4 one year option periods. FAR Clause 52-217-8, "Option to Extend Services" is incorporated.
