The Government intends to negotiate an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity Cost Plus Fixed Fee type contract for engineering and technical services in support of Combat, HM&E and Undersea Systems. The resulting contract will be for a base period of 01 October 1998 through 30 September 1999, with 4 one year option periods. FAR Clause 52-217-8, "Option to Extend Services" is incorporated. In order to streamline the acquisition process, all responsible sources must submit resumes and past performance data to the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, 1968 Gilbert Street, Attn: Code 02H3E, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 by 2:00 PM on 30 June 1998. This information is due prior to the submission of your written offer. The RFP will be issued approximately 15 June 1998.
