indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity Cost Plus Fixed Fee type
contract for engineering and technical services in support of Combat,
HM&E and Undersea Systems. The resulting contract will be for a base
period of 01 October 1998 through 30 September 1999, with 4 one year
option periods. FAR Clause 52-217-8, "Option to Extend Services" is
incorporated. In order to streamline the acquisition process, all
responsible sources must submit resumes and past performance data to
the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, 1968 Gilbert Street, Attn: Code
02H3E, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 by 2:00 PM on 30 June 1998. This
information is due prior to the submission of your written offer. The
RFP will be issued approximately 15 June 1998. Sixteen resumes will be
required across eight key personnel categories as follows: 1 ea
Technical Program Manager 3 ea Senior Systems Engineer (one for each
discipline) 1 ea Senior Electrical Engineer 1 ea Senior Mechanical
Engineer 1 ea ILS Manager 5 ea Engineering Tech VI (one for each
disipline) 2 ea Engineering Tech V 2 ea Electronics Tech III Draft

resumes are determined to be unacceptable by the technical evaluation
committee, offeror will not be given the opportunity to correct the
resumes. Only those offerors whose resumes are determined to be
acceptable will continue to Part II -- Evaluation for Award. Part II
consists of the technical proposal which will be an oral presentation,
the price proposal, and the past performance evaluation. The RFP will
close on 15 July 1998. Requests for the solicitation must state that
neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners
are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive
contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to so represent may be
grounds for refusing the request. Reference the RFP number when
