The VA Medical Center Dallas contracting office anticipates the award of a firm fixed price contract for the provision of supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment to perform window washing services at the VA Medical Center Dallas, 4500 S. Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216 and the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center, 1201 East 5th Street, Bonham, Texas, 75418. The IFB will include a multiple award provision thereby allowing acceptance of offers for both facilities, the Dallas facility only or the Bonham facility only. Term of the contract will be for a basic period with two options to extend the term of the contract by 12 months each. It is anticipated that the basic period will run from date of award, tentatively on or about 7/1/98, through 12/31/98. During the basic period two washings shall be accomplished, the first during the month of July 1998 and thesecond in November 1998. Thereafter, should the option be exercised, washings shall be accomplished during the months of May and November. Issue date of the solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 6/8/98.
