Z -- CONTAMINATED SOIL EXCAVATION SOL DACA33-98-T-0001 DUE 061998 POC Julie Mackley (978) 318-8413 The work of this project consists of the excavation, characterization, and proper disposal of approximately 245 cubic yards of diesel and No. 2 fuel oil contaminated soils. Soils shall be disposed of either on site or off site depending on the extent of contamination. An additional approximate 195 cubic yards of non-contaminated materials will require excavation and stockpiling to access the contaminated soil. Backfill will consist of clean granular material. Sampling and testing; safety, health and emergency response; surface restoration and completion of a closure report will also be required.
