Z -- CASSIDY SUSPENSION TRAIL BRIDGE SOL RFQ 15-98-37 DUE 070198 POC Southern Sierra Province, Contracting, (209) 297-0706 Ext. 4831 Project is the Repair of the Cassidy Suspension Trail Bridge, located on the Minarets Ranger District, Sierra National Forest, within the Ansel Adams Wilderness. Work will include repair to the base of tower leg damaged by impact of truss end, replacement or straightening of individual cord components to make a straight level walkway, redesigning of floor beams at the truss ends to withstand forces that act in diagonal to the under-deck bracing, and replacing suspender rod assemblies with cable suspenders and related hardware. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. No pre-bid is to be scheduled. Desired start work date is July 15, 1998. (0139)
