Cipriano, Telephone (210) 221-3235 and Fax (210) 221-5402 (Site Code DADA10) This is a Sources Sought Notice: The U.S. Army Medical Command Contracting Center requests information from academic or commercial organizations with expertise in developing alternative futures. This expertise would be applied to form alternative futures for the U.S. Army healthcare delivery system 20-25 years into the future. The goals of this endeavor will include, but not be limited to: 1. A set of plausible futures that avoids errors inherent in predicting a precise future or inadvertently ignoring an important possibility. 2. Sets of hypotheses and relationships among issues that merit further scientific study and experimentation. 3. Focused efforts to define possibilities and probabilities in all areas that contribute to developing and fielding US military forces of all services that can set the world standard in 2025. 4. Recommendations for action by the Army Medical Department's senior leaders to start, modify, or terminate activities designed to define and shape the Army healthcare delivery system of 2025, including the proportions of resources to be dedicated to current and future combat developments and overall modernization.
