J -- ON-CALL HARDWARE MAINTENANCE -- EXIDE AND EPE UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY EQUIPMENT SOL RFP-OO-98-1024 POC Contact Point -- Michael McFarland, Contracting Officer, 202-720-4179 The United States Department of Agriculture, National Information Technology Center (NITC) intends to acquire on-call maintenance for 5 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, 2 battery backup systems and 1 bypass control cabinet located at the NITC in Kansas City, Missouri, and 1 uninterruptible power supply and 1 battery backup system located at the NITC in Washington, DC. Equipment to be maintained includes Exide model 3450, Exide model 3600T and Exide Powercare model 100 UPS systems; Exide model 2000 bypass control cabinet; and EPE System 4000 UPS system. The resulting contract will be for 1 base year with 4 option years. All interested parties are encouraged to request the solicitation in writing within 30 days of this notice.
