Under OMB Circular A-76, we are determining the availability of commercial sources for nonpersonal services to provide all labor,supervision,tools,equipment, materials, and all other items necessary to operate a Cargo Movement Section (CMS) at Peterson AFB, CO. Interested parties should be fully knowledgeable in all aspects of packaging and preservation of property, inbound and outbound freight processing, and associated tasks to manage and operate a CMS. The CMS is comprised of two primary functions, Surface Freight and Packaging / Crating. Packaging/Crating personnel will be responsible for maintaining shipping materials and are required to properly prepare and package property for shipment through both the Defense Transportation System (DTS) and commercial means. Surface Freight personnel will be responsible for selecting the mode of shipment and booking of shipment with carrier based on the Supply priority, mode availability, cost, and the established required delivery date. Interested contractors are encouraged to submit company information to include business status (Large, Small, 8(a) etc.),capability statements and a brief review of Government contracts supporting Surface Freight efforts.
