N -- PROVIDE AND INSTALL SOUND REINFORCEMENT SYSTEMS, US FEDERAL COURTHOUSE, DANVILLE, VA SOL OXHSFDX-98-025 DUE 080198 POC Denise Reavis, 202-273-1468 Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials and expertise necessary to provide, install and test complete and fully operational sound reinforcement system in one(1) courtroom, in the US Federal Courthouse in Danville, VA. The sound reinforcement system includes voice reinforcement, bench conference, playback, simultaneous interpretation, assisted listening, recording, phone interface and control system. The work includes but is not limited to supply/fabrication/testing and adjustment of sound reinforcement equipment, preparation of operations and maintenance manuals, user training, warranty maintenance, and the repair and refinishing of all surfaces damaged during the installation of the system components and cabling. The contractor shall have calibrated test equipment of sufficient quality to permit repair and adjustment of system components to manufacture specifications. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest-price. Estimated cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required.
