612-725-2189 Provide a fully accredited, euipped and staffed Sleep
Disorders Center/Laboratory to evaluate cooperative/well patients with
sleep disorders as referred by VA Medical Center staff. Line Item
pricing will include all incidental and miscellaneous costs associated
with participant monitoring, i.e., standard technical operations with
videotape, paper, equipment, etc. Upon referral, patient's appointment
must be scheduled as soon as possible, but never to exceed a 60-day
period. Line items include Basic Polysomnography, Continuous Positive
Airway Pressure (titration), Multiple Sleep Latency Tests, Sleep
Disorders Center Education. Provide the most current and comprehensive
diagnosis and recommendation for optimal management of all types of
sleep disorders. The Sleep Disorders Center must be under supervision
by a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (R.PSGT). The Minneapolis
VA Medical Center sleep specialist will review all patient's clinical
information at Contractor's sleep lab and prepare orders forlaboratory
study (no Contractor interpretation of sleep studies is required on a
routine basis; possibly, Contractor interpretation coverage will be
required in the absence of VAMC Sleep Specialist. Evaluation factors
will include past performance. Facility evaluations will occur.
