Sullivan, Contracting Officer, (202) 414-3761 The Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO) requires assistance in verifying the Financial Simulation Model (FSM) software that will be used to run the risk-based capital stress test setting capital requirements for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The FSM is comprised of modules that simulate interest rates and house prices; project mortgage defaults, prepayments and loss severities; produce cash flows and generate pro forma financial statements. The FSM modules are written in SAS or C++ and utilize a Sybase database. The work will consist of: assisting OFHEO in developing a comprehensive test plan; developing test data sets, test scripts and other necessary tools; conducting the tests; and providing written results. Period of the contract will be from date of award to September 30, 1999, with four (4) one-year options. Requests for RFP's shall be in writing. Two mailing lables should accompany each letter request. Telephone requests WILL NOT be accepted.
