Shires, Jr., Contracting Officer (703)810-4680 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the following: Provide architectural services to include site visits as required, design services, draft and final drawings suitable for permit. This purchase order will be used on an as needed basis. This notice serves as the only solicitation; quotes are being requested thus a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) portion of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (FASA). The procedures identified in FAR 13.106 apply to this acquisition. Quotes will be evaluated on the basis of technical acceptable and lowest overall price. To be considered technically acceptable the offeror must demonstrate satisfactory past performance in providing drafting and architect services for office renovations in buildings of at least 100,000 square feet. With the quote, the offeror should provide information on at least two -- no more than five previous contracts for drafting and architect services. Information shall include a brief description of the effort, the customer with a point of contact and phone number, dollar value, and any unique or unusual circumstances that should be brought to the Government's attention.
