Gordy Parkway, Suite 208, Marietta, GA 30066. The VA Medical Center, Richmond, Virginia, intends to negotiate a two-month lease of mobile MRI services to start 6/22/98. The unit should contain a G.E. Signa 5X system. Magnet should be a minimum of .5 Teslas with a 55cm bore. Unit should be on a tractor-trailer. MRI system should have a dockable patient table; fast spin echo; angiography; laser imager; and full set of coils. Hours of operation will be 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Service contract should be provided to include preventive maintenance, parts, labor, and cryogen. Transportation to and from the customer site should be provided along with one day of applications. This hospital will not be able to function without a mobile MRI unit that has certain minimum requirements, while our MRI is down for replacement. The unit needs to be a G.E. Signa 5X system so that training time and operational issues will be a minimum during these 2 months of operation.
