This is a 100 percent set-aside for eligible 8(a) concerns. If the
Bidder intends to meet the project requirements via joint venture, the
request for a joint venture must be made by the Bidder to its
respective Business Opportunity Specialist in the District Office prior
to the bid opening date. Competition will be limited to 8(a) firms
located in the Albuquerque District which have SIC Code 1623 among
their approved SIC codes. All other firms are deemed ineligible to
submit offers. The work of this contract consists of the general
construction of approximately 7 miles of waterline, a new
250,000-gallon reservoir, a new treatment building pumphouse and all
related items. The work of this contract also includes upgrading the
existing service road, the designated modifications to the existing
wellhouse, the pumphouse, the 1-million-gallon reservoir, and the
aboveground line; and also includes the demolition of 500,000-gallon
reservoir, designated line and structures. -- Estimated price range,
$2,500,000 to $5,000,000. -- Time for completion, 510 calendar days. --
Bid opening date is approximate; actual date will be established at the
time bidding documents are available. -- All responsible sources may
