Building 57 serves as our primary patient care center, housing out-patient care clinics, surgical treatment and recovery areas. The work includes various corrections to architectural, mechanical and fire protection systems sufficient to make Building 57 comply with NFPA codes/standards 101, 13 and 90A. Significant branches of work include demolition, masonry, plastering and/or gypsum board systems, firestopping, builders hardware, miscellaneous finishes, identity painting, fire protection extensions, replacement of sprinkler heads and fire alarm modifications. Some work will be required during off-hours and on weekends. Estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. SIC code is 1542. Time of completion is 140 calendar days after the date of Notice to Proceed. Pre-bid conference date will be noted in solicitation. Attendance at pre-bid conference is MANDATORY.
