AIRFIELD PAVEMENT MARKINGS -- Project includes the furnishing of all plant, labor, equipment, supervision, materials, incidentals, and operations as required to perform and complete AIRFIELD PAVEMENT MARKINGS in strict accordance with contract sketches and technical specifications.Work shall include, but not be limited to, removing and disposing of existing airfield painting markings, and applying reflective and non-reflective paint on runways, overruns, taxiways, and aprons as specified. Magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. Anticipated issuance date for this Firm-Fixed price Invitation for Bid (IFB) is 14 Jun 98. The tentative Bid Opening Date is 14 Jul 98. Performance period will be 60 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 1611. This solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis. No telephone requests for solicitation packages will be honored. There is no charge for this package. Written requests will be honored on a first come first served basis. No requests for solicitation packages will be honored when supplies are exhausted. *NOTICE*- While funds are not presently available within Air Mobility Command to fund this project, we anticipate funds will become available by 16 Nov 98. If current Fiscal Year (FY98) funds become available, contract award will be made no later than 30 Sep 98. If FY98 funds are not available, this project will be funded with FY99 funds.
