74 -- AUTOMATED CIRCULATION/CATALOG SYSTEM SOL RFP 670-25-98 DUE 061198 POC Lisa M. Rowland, 315-476-7461, ext 3599 This is a combined synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issed. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Winnebago Software Company for Automated Circulaiton/Catalog System. System includes a portable circulation and inventory barcode reader, laser gun and stand and Spectrum circulation/catalog software including unlimited single site network license. Written responses shall include prices and technical data sufficient to evaluate proposed system. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract. Standard industrial classification is 7372. Offerors shall provide a complete set of provisions with proposal found at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial items. Provisions and clauses found at 52.212-1, 52-212-4, 52.212-5 and 852.210-77 also apply.
